When we discuss "how to meet women" and "men and relationships", the first conversation with a female is an area I often receive queries on. In particular, what do you do if you get a great first encounter with someone you are interested in only to learn that she is already relating to somebody else? Personally, I never ask a woman about her romance state. It reveals a lack of self-confidence to do so. Nevertheless, I study signals and flirt somewhat to observe how they react. Also just because someone is "seeing" someone doesn't suggest they are in a devoted love and aren't keen on interacting with you.
Notice the signals that a female gives you in a conversation. Is she just being courteous conversing with you or is she basically attracted? If she is in another love relationship she will possibly speak to you but won't try to create any future with you (see you later). She might be a bit reserved and get much more so when you try to flirt.
If a woman is specifically serious about you she will flirt back and give you some clues that she wants to see you in the future. She will indicate doing something or meeting or chatting or getting together. She will show how she basically loved conversing with you, at which stage, you could suggest that you should talk again or some more and ask for her phone number.
If you are watchful you can understand very quickly if a girl is flirting with you or if she is simply being polite. Now if she is keen on you, and you show confidence enough to not ask if she is seeing somebody else, you will often score a few points with her.
